This post marks the launch of the Club Penguin Journey blog, your one-stop shop for all the latest and greatest island news! Our first post includes some awesome updates and rumors about the island’s upcoming events. Check up often here on the blog to see what’s waddling – the future is full of some fun stuff!
To begin with, it’s time to showcase the first Penguin of the Week! Congratulations to Yellowman10! They will receive 10,000 coins and an exclusive Green Viking Helmet as a show of appreciation for their kindness and involvement in the CPJ community. Keep up the great work and waddle on, Yellowman10!
In island news, a brand new newspaper will be hitting the stands every other Monday, starting today! Our first edition includes a wrap-up to the recent St. Patrick’s Day event, as well as coverage on the Leprechaun Leftovers scavenger hunt, which took place over the weekend and introduced not one, but two new custom items to the island! Be sure to check it out – rumor has it, this first copy comes with a bonus gift!
That’s not all the rumor mill has been churning out! Our dedicated team of penguin reporters have been investigating the frozen lake behind the Ski Lodge, where some exciting things are happening behind-the-scenes. There have also been reports of an especially hungry Fluffy lurking below the lake’s icy surface… if you’re curious to know more, check out the newest edition of the newspaper for a full report!
Back in February, CPJ’s Beta Party ended with the news that there’d been a big collapse in the Cave Mine. Now, our sources have given us some vague hints that something is afoot down there! What could it be? Our next adventure? Hidden treasures? What do you think? We’re not at large to say – all we can say is that it’ll be large! Keep an eye on the blog and newspaper for updates, hold onto your hard hats, and get ready for some serious spelunking!
Wow, what a whirlwind! We’ve got some huge stuff on the horizon, and we can’t wait to share it with you! CPJ is nearing its 2 month anniversary, and already our community is more kind, vibrant and welcoming than we could’ve ever hoped. Your consistent patience and support means so much to us!
