Hi friends! We hope you’re all having an amazing time enjoying all the mascot visits, and most of all, celebrating ONE MILLION penguins with us! Out of more than 1,000,000 penguins, today we’re shining the spotlight on someone truly special.
Please join us in congratulating our 174th Penguin of the Week: buffyslays!
She joined Club Penguin Journey just 132 days ago and has already made a big impact on our community! Just like Cadence, whom she aspired to be as a child, buffyslays inspires the other penguins to always be helpful and creative. She often engages in role play with the other penguins, thus harvesting that playful tone the penguin scene oh so values. Not only this, but if anyone is having a not so sunny day on the island, she will be there to spread kindness, compliments, and include everyone in the creative fashion shows she often attends.
Buffyslays dedicates most of her time to designing and advertising her igloos; something she is very fond of, you probably have seen the build a bear igloo or the one currently featured in the newspaper. However, she will always interrupt her daily advertising in order to answer questions, welcome young penguins, and guide them throughout their stamp journey. To almost every question, she tries her best to find an answer. And that is what makes her a very special friend!
Our staff nominated buffyslays, and here is what they had to say:
”I’d like to nominate buffyslays for POTW! She’s been super creative with making some unique igloos designs, from frutiger aero-themed homes to her own Build-A-Bear Workshop – I love seeing the fun ideas penguins use to inspire igloos and buffyslays seems brimming with them! She shows kindness to everyone and isn’t afraid to lend a flipper to whoever needs one. Her hard work and participation has brought a lot of fun and camaraderie to her fellow players, and she’s exactly the penguin I’d like to see represent and inspire our community.”
As always, she will receive 10,000 coins, the exclusive Penguin of the Week background, and of course, the Green Viking Helmet.
