This project was created to help bridge the gap between the community and our team. For some time now, we’ve felt that this was something we needed to address, but we wanted to find a safe way to do so, without it being compromising.
After considering different ideas, we’ve come up with this version of the CEP. This is a live project, so it will keep changing as we find other needs that need to be addressed. This project will allow all staff members to create and use aliased CPJ accounts to interact with the community in an organic and safe way. These are our goals:
1. Promote community engagement.
2. Personify the CPJ staff team.
3. Allow staff members to engage directly with the community.
We kindly ask everyone to keep a few things in mind when interacting with these accounts. Please note that these accounts will not be accepting postcards or friend requests for now. We’re also part of the community, so please don’t treat us like mascots – we’re people just like you, and we’d love to meet and chat with everyone! For moderation-related assistance, please use the appropriate channel so our Trust & Safety team can help you there.
